Cuban sandwiches

After making the Cuban-marinated pork roast in this recipe, you will have some leftovers.

A member, Jenna Anderson, sent in a fantastic recipe for a delicious way to use that shredded pork: Cuban sandwiches. Don't have left-overs? Pull our shredded, smoked pork out of the freezer and use that instead. Yum!

Cuban Sandwiches

With the leftovers from your shredded pork (or really any time you have some shredded pork but this recipe really gets the flavor right for the Cuban sandwich):

  • Spread Dijon mustard on both sides of cut sandwich rolls.
  • Layer Swiss or provolone cheese slices, roasted pork, deli ham (TC Farm deli ham for the win!!) and sandwich-sliced pickles.
  • Toast until cheese is melty.
