There are a few methods out there for how to cook spaghetti squash:
Sliced into rings and baked
Baked or microwaved whole
Steamed in a pan of water in the oven
Halved and baked cut side down
In my opinion, halved and baked cut side down is the best method. Hands down.
Directions
Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees.
Cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds.
Rub olive oil into each squash half, about 1 tsp per squash half should be enough. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then place them cut-side down onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 40-60 minutes, until a fork can easily pierce through the squash’s interior.
Once the squash has finished baking, use a fork to fluff the insides until it has a spaghetti-like texture.
