Sautéed Baby Bok Choy

  • 1 lb bok choy
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 lb bok choy
  • 1 tbsp sesame or vegetable oil
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • Splash of soy sauce


  1. Rinse bok choy, pat dry.
  2. In a medium skillet bring water to a boil and add whole or halved bok choy depending on its size.
  3. Cover and simmer over medium low heat for about 5 minutes.
  4. Uncover and cook on high heat until the pan is dry.
  5. Add oil and garlic, tossing often until the garlic is fragrant. Add a splash of soy sauce and ground pepper to taste.
