Ingredients

  • 8 T (1 stick) salted organic fed butter, cut into 1 “ pieces
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced (by hand or in a mini food processor)
  • 2 T tomato paste
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • 2 T white wine vinegar
  • ¼ to ½ cup Tabasco sauce (depending on your tolerance for heat)

Directions:

Add all of the ingredients into a crockpot and turn it on low. Stir everything together and add in more water or wine as needed. Once combined, add in your wings… still frozen is OK.

Cook on low for the morning, stirring around as needed. You can leave them on low for a while, just don’t let them dry out too much.

Just before you want to eat them, pull the wings out and broil in an oven, or place on a hot grill to crisp up the skin. You could also pan fry them, but that would probably make more of a mess than you want.

(Experiment-minded people: This is a sauce, a perfect time to have some fun with spices! Maybe add some cinnamon, clove, or soy sauce. I would think some brown sugar would go great in this too.)
